Holidays started, different places, different homes and spaces, time to relax and feel out of the stressful routine.. Narry is actually being so cute here...he wants Louise’s flesh, heart and blood, saying that ‘time has no meaning’ with her. This is really what love makes you feel, at least myself, even though time is not meaningless with him, it is actually full of it, full of beautiful moments and with which time is eternity.

Such deep and in detail thoughts about her body and the place they are in, their ‘loving cell’ as he says, I would love that he told that to Louise, she would definitely fall in love with those cute words!
You said it Louise! “Come to me new”, “Come to me without a past” (54), she is totally right. If he loves her, why having to go through his past? Why compare to his old lovers? If he is totally into this new relationship, come and start again, fall in love for the first time, make love for the first time... even though he has had lovers in the past, each should have been a new adventure, a new beginning and, eventually, new endings.

Narry, Narry... poor Jacqueline... now you have to ‘break up’ with her and what? You hurt yourself, you hurt her and, if you do not do it, you will hurt your lovely Louise. And the hard point here is that you find it hard to explain yourself! And still you say “It’s for US to decide that. It’s a JOINT DECISION”, no way, she is not part of that decision, of you loving two girls at the same time and the issue of you making up your mind. And, what i expected, “I don’t know what I want”, great.
(This following part is getting me a little bored, all the descriptions of the families up in their flats, reading their mouths... and wait he is talking about another of his lovers, Catherine...stop please, you look like a womaniser here). He is all the time thinking and comparing moments with his old lovers, this is the main reason Louise said that about his past...

At least one thing he is sure about is his love for Louise and the need to be with her even though he ends up not being with her! But this is a crucial moment for him...between both women...

Elgin’s mother... it actually makes me feel like in a rollercoaster of emotions going up and down all the time and talking about hundreds of things at the same time nonstop. 64 pages without a chapter. Shiffy and Esau, sometimes I really feel lost. From love to death... please this book is killing me already.

Well, after this sad episode of Elgin’s mother, Louise seems to have opened her heart to Narry, or Christopher Robin, and talked about her marriage with Elgin, how they never had a sexual encounter and how sad that marriages looked like. It looks like Louise fell in love with Narry at least, she does not want to let him go and neither seems Narry. THIS MAKES ME FEEL SO HAPPY TO BE HONEST YAY FOR LOVE AND FOR DECISIONS.
