Short but intense
0:30Currently, I am not in the mood of reading 'romantic' novels and it is being had going through deep descriptions and details of the love of the narrator towards Louise. At least, he is starting to feel comfortable, discovering real feelings for her and, most important, witnessing what he did in the past and wanting to leave it behind. And now finding out all Louise did when she encountered him in the park was not real as she actually stalked him to talk with him!
Jacqueline appears, the narrator slaps her and tells her off... what had he done... I felt very bad for Jacqueline, I do not think she deserved that fight even thought Narry played with her feelings. After that I do not think she deserved a fight over her...
The thing is, Louise is still hiding from Elgin, why do not talk with him if she is in love with Narry? I do not understand haha
"The language of the deaf" (89), "Written on the body is a secret code" (89), this is super beautiful, "I never thought Louise would have reading hands. She has translated me into her own book." It is so intimate, that he would not give his body to anyone but someone special to unfold it and read it, as baille, touching it. I want them both to live happy and without thinking of any other person going within their relationship like Elgin, they are so cute please let them be together, I mean, "I would eat my way into perdition to taste you" (91). If that is not love, I do not know what could it be!
Narry had an affair with a boy some time ago? He never stops to shock me...
I am feeling a bit lost right now.. just because there is a topic about virtual world while I read and I am not able to connect with what I was reading before hahah
It looks like he is talking about The Sims life, when you control a virtual life of some people, like simulating your 'perfect' or 'desirable' life with those virtual people that you create, being able to be and do whatever you want.
